Before your skydive, upon check in with our Team, you will receive a full tandem safety briefing, verbally and on video. If you book a video package, your tandem instructor will start the interview during the briefing. You will be escorted to the boarding area, where you will receive a pre-boarding safety check, and you will get your pictures taken. You, your instructor and your videographer(if you book an outside camera) will then board the aircraft.

No, the time mentioned on your reservation confirmation is the time you need to arrive at our location. It is not the time of your skydive. You should plan to spend about two to two & half hours at the skydive Ops drop zone, as weather and other factors may play a part.

Yes, weather can affect skydiving. Too much cloud cover, poor visibility, precipitation, or winds (especially at higher altitudes) can sometimes delay proceedings. If this is the case, our safety and training officer or other qualified personnel will put the operation on a ‘standby’. This doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t get to skydive. Usually, it just means you may have to wait a bit longer to do so. If poor conditions persist, we may have to cancel operations for the day. If we cancel you can reschedule to the next available date or apply for a refund.

Of course! Tandem gift certificates are available and cab be purchased by contacting our Team on admin@skydivefiji.com Gift certificates make perfect presents for the adrenaline and extreme-sports lovers in your life. Please note: Gift certificates are for personal use only, and the person using it must meet our requirements.

A skydive from 13,000 feet usually lasts 50-60 seconds. The main factor that influences a skydive duration is your body position and therefore the surface exposed in friction with the air. Experienced skydivers in a head-down position may experience speeds of up to 450 km/h and a shorter freefall duration. Skydives in a “belly to earth” position, like tandem skydives, usually last up to 60 seconds, due to larger areas exposed to the relative air in freefall and relatively lower speeds, still up to 200km/h!

Tandem Skydiving is the best way to introduce yourself to the world of skydiving. It is the safest, easiest and most enjoyable way to do your first skydive. Every year thousands of people of all ages and professions ventured forth into the world of skydiving. Many have since embraced it as their favorite sport. Almost anyone can skydive however you will need parental consent if you are under 18 yrs.

We recommend choosing a time as early as possible in the day to maximize the chance that you jump. This is due to weather conditions changing during the day.

Yes of course you can! If you have no problem with flying, you will not have a problem with Skydiving. One of our instructors even has a fear of heights. It is not like standing on a building, it is just a plane ride. Ok, it might be a scary idea to jump out of the plane, but that’s something else.

Just wear comfortable clothes like a t-shirt, shorts and most importantly shoes/trainers. We will ask you to take of jewely like watches and braceletts. Got long hair? Please bring something to tie it up in a bunn or pony tail.

We operate 7 days a week from sunrise till sunset. Weather Permitting. When there is a lot of wind, rain or a thick layer of low hanging clouds we might have to cancel/delay the jump. In this case we will reschedule or refund the jump.

A tandem skydive means that you will skydive while securely attached to a qualified instructor. Your instructor will deploy your parachute, navigate to the landing area, and control the parachute to ensure a safe and soft landing.
