About Us
Skydive Fiji commenced operations in Nadi on the 14th of April 2004, offering thrilling adventure activity of tandem skydiving for the first time in Fiji. The company is owned and operated by Tim and Susan Joyce. Looking for a business venture, Tim noticed the lack of adventure activities for tourists and saw a gap and opportunity in the Fiji market to introduce an adventure activity.
They registered the business, sailed back to Australia, packed up their lives and returned in 2004 to live. Tim flew his especially modified 6seat Cessna aircraft on the long journey from Australia to Fiji. Facing some scepticism and apprehension at the start from an industry that was still promoting Fiji as a “flop and drop”destination, Tim and Susan were overjoyed that the idea of Tandem Skydiving was soon well received and supported by the Tourism Fiji stakeholders. On June 8th 2004, Tim jumped out of a perfectly serviceable aeroplane over Denarau with Skydive Fiji’s first tandem passenger. This was a thrilling experience of a 60second free-fall at 200km/hr overlooking the glorious Mamanuca Island before a 7-8minute scenic parachute ride and landing. After very humble beginnings, Skydive Fiji continues to thrive. We currently employ about 12 staff most of them locals with the exception of Tandem Instructors. Skydive Fiji has an excellent safety record and injects quiet a substantial amount yearly into the tourism sector of the Fijian economy.

Our specialist Skydiving Aircraft include a specifically modified Cessna, fitted with a large Continental IO-550 fuel-injected engine to enable it to climb quickly to high altitudes and a custom-made in-flight opening door which not only enables comfortable skydiving operations but is also ideal for aerial photography.
The Cessna is also fitted with custom made in-flight opening door which enables comfortable skydiving operations. The GA-8 is equipped with a customized sliding door, which allows easy and comfortable exit. The Cessna aircraft carries up to two tandems and an extra camera person on each load. The larger Air Van, GA-8 TC320 has the capability to double the load than our current cessna aircraft. The DQ-VAN can comfortably transfer up to 8 jumpers at one time (ie 3 tandem pairs plus two freefall photographers).

Thrills & Views of a Lifetime
Hands down one of the best experiences of my life. CJ was AMAZING – he explained all the equipment and their uses as well as the safety features that are in place. He explained how everything was going to go down and what to expect. I recommend this to EVERYONE. They got us our photos and video so quickly after we were done, they also took us prior to our scheduled time. They were overall very professional and friendly. Doing this again if we were to ever come back to Fiji.

Be a Legend and book a sky dive! It’s amazing!
We had the most amazing experience with Sky Dive Fiji. My son has always wanted to Sky Dive and I never had any desire to (I do not like the feeling of falling, like jumping off any height). After seeing sky diving was available in Fiji, I looked it up and read the reviews. They were so good I decided to not only send him but to jump too! Why not jump out of a plane strapped to someone I just met! 24 hours later I still am amazed we did it. Tim & CJ were fantastic. Felt totally safe and excited at the same time. The views were out of this world. My son was ready to book another jump as soon as we landed. The sensation was nothing like jumping from a height (thankfully!). It was only those first few seconds after leaving the plane that I thought what am I doing?! The free fall from 13000 feet was the best. Glad we went with the higher choice. Once you settle in to the free fall you still have time to really enjoy it. Highlight for me was free falling through a cloud for a moment. I’ll never forget that! So glad we got the video package. Amazing to be able to relive the whole experience from start to finish. Highly recommend Sky Dive Fiji. Couldn’t be a better place on earth to sky dive!

SkyDive Fiji is amazing from the booking process, to the the actual Jump! Very friendly staff and awesome instructors!!!! I had Kitsch and it was my first time, made me feel very comfortable and his knowledge and experience made me feel confident. Everything about this whole adventure is and was perfect for me. The people, the experience and definitely the views!!!!! You won’t see a better view I promise! We landed on the beach which was even more awesome!!! It’s a must do when down in Fiji!!!!! BULA!!!!
